RIVERMIST

Rivermist was formed in July 2014 in Fayetteville, NC. The band is a collaboration of musicians that have between them, over 200 years of playing/ singing experience. Rivermist’s love of audience appeal, along with the desire to preserve music familiar to their roots, is what sparked the formation of the group. “RIVERMIST” is primarily a Classic Rock/ R&B/ Variety/ Party band. They have been voted Fayetteville/ Ft Bragg’s “Best Band” by Up & Coming Weekly Newspaper, 9 years running! They have over 9,000 followers on Facebook, close to 1,000 Instagram followers, and almost 600 YouTube subscribers!

Rivermist won “Rising Star” at the Carolina Beach Music Awards in 2023, at the Alabama Theater in North Myrtle Beach! Also, they were named the 2021 “Vocal Group of the Year” by the CCMAs in January of 2022, at the House of Blues in NMB! Their biggest hit, “Everything’s Changed” was nominated for “Song of the Year” for the 2024 CAMMYs, while WINNING 2024 Song of the Year on 94.9 the Surf Radio out of N Myrtle Beach, SC. The Surf has over 50,000 weekly voters for their favorite songs.

Rivermist played to open show for national artist, Rick Springfield (Jessie’s Girl, etc.) in October 2021 at the Crown Theater in Fayetteville, while being referred to as Fayetteville’s “Crown Jewel” by Crown leadership! Several individual award winners inside this band too.

Their shows are FUN; however intensively performed as only professionally driven musicians will give. They realize success will always be judged by their fans first. Rivermist’ harmonies, showmanship, as well as the musicianship, is something that needs to be experienced.
